Noridian Announces Lesley Hatten as Director of Operations

Fargo, N.D. (April 3, 2025) Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a leader in developing solutions for healthcare programs, is proud to announce the promotion of Lesley Hatten to Director of Operations within Noridian’s Provider Audit, Reimbursement, & Recoupment Division (PARRD).

This role represents important work for Noridian as a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS). PARRD addresses the financial aspect of the CMS program by administering cost report audits, desk reviews, tentative settlements, and is a steward to handle over-payments to providers, among many other functions to the program.

“This position requires an understanding of the billing experience for healthcare providers as well as dedication to ensuring that the Medicare Trust Funds are preserved for fair use now and in the future,” explains Vice President of Audit Reimbursement and Recoupment Becky Kuznia. “Mr. Hatten has the vision, skills and experience required of this role and will play an important part in safeguarding public resources.”

Hatten will help to oversee the reimbursement and recoupment programs as well as ancillary support for the entire division in administering the training, quality and reporting programs and subcontractor oversight.

“The fair use of the Medicare Trust funds is important to me and this team.” Hatten explains, “We strive to support healthcare providers with clear communication and efficient processes for all involved.”

Hatten’s career has been marked by an ability to lead large scale projects and combine analytical skills with communication at multiple levels. Hatten joined Noridian in April 2000.
